Before sending your documents to the translation office, it is necessary to check if is necessary obtain the 1961 Hague Apostille for your documents. The Apostille or the legalisation certificate is a document that is attached to the original document issued by the British authorities, its purpose being that of legalising the signature, seal or stamp of the British official who drafted that specific document. It is issued by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office – the Legalisation Department and it is necessary for certificates of Births, Deaths and Marriages, Decrees Absolute, Deedpolls, etc when these are used

The documents to be legalized must be sent by post – the waiting period being of 3-5 working days. The legalisation fee is of £30 per document. Once you have obtained the Apostille you can send us the documents for translation and as an authorised Romanian translator we will follow the requirements of the Romanian Authority.

The translation of the documents takes minimum 24h to maximum 3 days. Once the authorized translations have been performed, you can bring them to the Consular Department of the Romanian Embassy London to have them legalized.
